
..about the Dojo
The Aikido Tokaido Dojo was established in 2010 and is directed by Petros Moulagiannis sensei 4. Dan Aikikai Hombu and Nickos Klappas 3. Dan Aikikai Hombu.
The school covers two areas of eastern Attica Prefecture, Greece, by operating clubs in the suburb of Pallene (Pallini), [29 Marathonos Avenue, tel: 210 6034080] and in the town of Rafina, [Eleftheriou Venizelou 6 & Cyprion Agoniston, 19009, tel: 22940-24629].

Petros Moulagiannis sensei 4. Dan Aikikai Hombu
Petros Moulagiannis sensei started practicing martial arts in 1989, at the age of 18, beginning with Shotokan Karate. In 1996 he joined the FukuShinKan dojo and HAA and he started training Aikido under the instructions of George Koliopoulos sensei 6. Dan Aikikai Hombu- Founder and Chief Instructor of the FukuShinKan Dojo and HAA. Over the years, Peter Moulagiannis sensei has practiced under Janet Clift sensei and Eamonn Devlin sensei- Leaders of the Aikido of Athens, the House Principals of the United Kingdom Aikikai- Mr. William Smith Shihan MBE (1929-2006), Gordon Jones Shihan, Peter Brady Shihan, the Founder of the Aikido Association International- Shihan Fumio Toyoda (1947-2001), and Shihans such as Seiichi Sugano (1939-2010), Yoshiaki Yokota, Shigeru Sugawara, Yoji Fujimoto, Tomohiro Mori, Yukimitsu Kobayashi.
He has participated in numerous seminars in Greece and abroad such as in Germany and in Norway with Aikido Doshu Ueshiba Moriteru and leading Shihans of the Aikikai Hombu, Japan and in Italy with Shihan Hiroshi Tada. He currently holds the rank of 4. Dan Aikikai. In 2010, he established the Tokaido Aikido Dojo, in which he is the Chief Instructor.
Petros Moulagiannis sensei was for many years one of the top assistant instructors at the FukuShinKan Dojo and HAA under the instructions of George Koliopoulos Sensei.
As a result of his research in the field of martial arts, Moulagiannis sensei has developed a strong interest in the art of sword drawing, called Iaido. Since 2004, he practices Iaido and he currently holds the rank of Sandan. He counts many participations and discrimination in European and All-Hellenic Championships.
Nickos Klappas 3. Dan Aikikai Hombu
Mr. Nickos Klappas started training in martial arts in 1984 at the age of 14. He practiced Shotokan Karate under G. Veronis and T. Otake, until 1993 and he holds the rank of 1. Dan. He heard about Aikido during the late 80s and he started practicing in 1998 at the FukuShinKan Dojo, under George Koliopoulos sensei 6. Dan Aikikai, Founder and Chief Instructor of the HAA.
Nickos Klappas has taken part in many seminars in Greece and abroad with Aikido Doshu Ueshiba Moriteru, Mr. William Smith Shihan MBE (1929-2006), Gordon Jones, Peter Brady, Keith Hayward, Seiichi Sugano (1939-2010), Shigeru Sugawara, Yukimitsu Kobayashi, Yoji Fujimoto, Tomohiro Mori, Katsuaki Asai, Hatayama, Miyamoto, Kobayashi, Fujita, Rokubota, Inaba, Arai, Christian Tissier, Pascal Guillemin, Bjorn Eirik Olsen, Janet Clift, Eamonn Devlin. He currently holds the rank of 3. Dan Aikikai.
He was holding classes often at the FukuShinKan Dojo and now he is instructor at the Aikido Tokaido Dojo.
Since 2004, Nickos Klappas practices Iaido, holding today the rank of 3. Dan and he has continuous participation in seminars and national championships.
